Opportunity cost means when you get a benifit that you could have recieved something by alternative action.
I got few of the opportunities in my life and I guess I remember one of them.when I was in my country India then I was given a chance to study there and not to come to America but then I told my parents that I want to go to America and continue my studies and then they agreed but after a year I realized how much I love my friends and how much I care about them and how much I love that country.I started saying to my parents that I dont wanna go now..as i want to stay in India but they didnt listen to me and brought me here.So when i was getting the opprtunity to stay there i wasent listening to them but when i said i want to they didnt let me stay because of their own reasons.
so now I gotto pay for this.I dont like to live here but i have to..=]
